Well, here we are. Bullet-Proof T-Shirt Productions has left the warm, cozy womb of my house and is now exposed to the cold harsh reality of the internet. Will we be popular? I have no idea, since we haven't even started a script for episode 1. But, for now, you can look at a couple of other Bullet-Proof T-Shirt Productions productions. Let me give you the lowdown.
DA PEOPLES: Okay, so there's me, Jim, and then there's Trevor, Robert, Zach, and Jake. We're the for sure official BPTSP people. Other people who might be part of our gang are Rick, Tyler, Chris, Nick, and Chas/Chuck/Charlie hereafter referred to as "Charies." So, basically, we're just a buncha friends who had a few inside jokes that we found hilarious but that in all probability no sane person outside our gang will even understand that we wanted to put into a series. *cough* RED Vs. BLUE! *cough* Who said that?! Well, I guess I can deny it no longer. Our series which will be voice-overed clips from Unreal Tournament does seem verrry suspiciously similar to Red Vs. Blue. Well, we have no imaginations, okay? You happy? Our series will try to stray as far as possible from being a direct ripoff of Red Vs. Blue. But, there are people who worship Red Vs. Blue and will only be able to see the similarity to the aforementioned series and will therefore miss all of our original originality. Bullet-Proof T-Shirt, for example. That's a really original name! Get off our backs!
Right. The movies.
The first BPTSP short, originally created as a video project for Sci-Fi Lit. Just me and Trevor... ahem. Trevor and I worked on it, with vocal assistance from Charies, Jake, and Tyler. Back then we were "Unreal Productions" since it was filmed with Unreal, but that name was taken, so we renamed ourselves after our series. Da plot: Being a project, it's based off of the novel Brave New World, and if you haven't read it, it won't make any sense. But basically, Drake Dante wants to climb the social ladder, so he incites a rebellion among the low class miners in order to kill all of his superiors and assume their positions. BWA HA HA HA HA!
The final Sci-Fi Lit project, which was required to be completely original. So, Trevor and I created a wonderful story that we thought was completely new until we realized it came straight from The Dragon Riders of Pern. So, we tweaked the plot ever so slightly and fudged together a stop-motion Lego movie detailing the uprising of peasants against wizards blah blah blah that I spent two all-nighters in a row on to finish in time. So, you can attribute its crappy quality to the fact that it was made in three days. Enjoy!
The main attraction: A ragtag team is playing through a series of skirmishes on Unreal Tournament, although they don't seem to realize they are playing a game. Hilarity ensues (well, in theory, anyway). But seriously, that's all I know about it, because friggin Zach, Robert, and Jake are the ones coming up with all this crap, but they don't write any of it down and they only let me in on bits and pieces. We have made it our goal, however, to put out episode 1 before the end of January. So... yeah. Well, I think I left a... food... in... the oven... I gotta go.
